Stampin Up! Mail

During the ice storm my MIL's mailbox was damaged so my DH went out and bought her a new one. Well, he shouldn't have left it within my reach, lol. I ordered the small Flower Garden Decor Elements and now she has the prettiest mailbox in town. I used my sisters Cricut to cut my Stampin up White Wall Vinly for her name and house number. In Joy!

This project uses the new hostess set Darling Dots.  The Cardstock colors are Basic Gray, Tangerine Tango and Whisper White.  I love the new Eyelet Border punch and the nice clean look of this card.  In Joy!

Elegant Thank You

This card is so easy and looks so beautiful.  I am so happy that Stampin Up is selling the clear Rhinestone Brads individually this catalog!  The ribbon is the new Whisper White Organza Ribbon, I LOVE IT!  The cardstock is Sahara Sand, Whisper White and Baja Breeze and the ink is the same with Pumpkin Pie too.  Don't forget your Curly Label punch with the Cute & Curly stamp set.  In Joy! 

Rub On Your Scentsy

What is Scentsy?  It's the Queen of Candle Warmers!  I purchased this smooth design for my stamp room to use with rub ons and it worked great.  These warmers use an appliance bulb so the wax in the top tray melts but isn't too hot to touch.  They have too many fragrances to mention but my favorite so far is Ocean.  I have had it for months and it still holds its fragrance.  If you decide to try one of these warmers and I am sure you will love it too. Valentine Treats

Happy Valentines Day!  My 8 year old daughter and I made these treats to handout to neighbors and friends.  We cut Pink Pirouette in strips of 3"x11" and scored at 4", 5 1/2" & 9 3/4".  Next we stamped them with the heart trio stamp from Love You Much in Riding Hood Red.  After folding these you will see that it's a match book fold.  We then stapled a bag of candy from the top and punched a window in the front using the Curly Label punch.  Lastly, we hid the staple using Riding Hood Red and Whisper White stamped with the Hugs & Kisses stamp.  In Joy!

Who doesn't love the dollar spot at Target?  I love these little mailboxes they have around Valentine's day.  This one is decorated using Raspberry Tart DSP, Lovely Letters, Kiwi ink, Tag punches and various ribbon pieces.  My daughter Gabby loved it!  In Joy!

Valentine Card

Oh my, I can't believe it's been two months since my last post.  I don't really have any great excuses other than LIFE happened.  This is my valentine card for my DH.  The card base is Chocolate Chip with a layer of Pink Pirouette lightly stamped with the large heart stamp from Love You Much.  I am not sure what the technique is called on this one but I stamped the Love You Much stamp with chocolate chip on vellum cardstock.  Take your vellum and turn it upside down on your foam pad from the paper piercing set and dry emboss with the stylus.  Before turning it over take a sponge and ink over the image with Regal Rose ink.  Now you are ready to layer this piece on Regal Rose and Choc Chip.  Next I punched a heart in two corners using the Heart to Heart punch to slide my Choc Chip Taffeta ribbon thru.  Lastly I used my Heart to Heart punch for some more hearts.  I love the way the vellum turns white when dry embossed and the sponging makes it pop even more.  In Joy!

Falling Leaves

This camp project used With Gratitude (using Stampin Write Markers to color the leaves) and Sincere Salutations. They stamped up the image and then cut it in equal sizes to adhere to the card. The sentiment was punched with the Key Tag and layered on the Curly Label Punch and lastly adhered with dimensionals. In Joy!

Fall Anniversary

My sister's Anniversary was this month and she made this card for her husband. She used the With Gratitude, Sanded and Full of Life stamp sets along with Stitched Grosgrain and Retired Hodge Podge. In Joy!

Rub on Candle

My mom's Birthday was in October (yes, I am just now posting pics) so I got out the rub ons (which I admittedly don't play with enough!) and decorated this candle. This is actually the first time I have used the Riding Hood Red ribbon from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Just Lovely! In Joy!

Bella Monogram

This monogram cards was a camp project also. We used the Bella Rose DSP, Frames with a Flourish and Lovely Letters. Oh, can't forget the new scallop edge punch! In Joy!

Inspired by Nature

This card was a camp project using Inspired by Nature and Stampin Write Markers. If you look closely, you can see the orange micro beads on the flower. We adhered them with crystal effects. The fold is easy, just your normal 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, then just fold the front back in half again. In Joy!

Punch Flower

These flowers were made using the scallop punch and paper snips. The leaves were make using the crimper and paper snips. The DSP is Bella Rose and if you look closely you can see that we sponged the flower to make the petals more noticeable. The second picture is a 12x12 page my sister Donna made using the card for inspiration. I placed it in a scrapbook frame from Hobby Lobby to hand in our craft room since the color (apricot appeal) matches perfectly. In Joy!

Baroque Christmas

This was the third stamp a stack card. We had glitter everywhere and sparkled for days, lol! The background is Baroque Motifs (which I love!) and the glitter was adhered with Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive. The DSP is Ski Slope (also available in bulk) and I used the hostess set Punches Three for the sentiment using the Square scallop punch and dimensionals. I have an addiction to dimensionals but don't tell anyone (as if they haven't noticed). It's fun using stamps that are not necessarily meant for Christmas. In Joy!

Loads of Holiday Cheer

This was the second stamp a stack card using Loads of Love. The truck has dimensionals behind it. I am so glad they made the vanilla hardware available on bulk order! The sentiment is from Elegant Cheer. In Joy!

Snowman Lineup

Here are more cards using the Frosty Day DSP. The first card was used in a stamp a stack since the paper is available on bulk order. The Holiday Lineup set is lots of fun! The ribbon is knotted and adhered with a mini glue dot so that it appears to be coming thru the paper. In Joy!

Snow Swirled Swap

These pics were from a make-n-take swap at our demonstrator meeting using the new Frosty Day DSP. It took me a while to figure out what to do with the Snow Swirled Tree to dress it up a bit. Finally, I remembered the Orange Beads and adhered them with Crystal Effects. The ribbon at the top of the tree is just knotted and adhered with a mini glue dot. In Joy!

Snow Swirled Horses

This will be my Christmas card this year and I have 30 made already (woohoo!). It started out as a swap but I decided it was so me that it should be my Christmas cards. The horse image has dimensionals behind it. I have a tip that you may find interesting (or not) but I like it. When I was using craft white ink one day I inked up my stamp and set it aside for a minute to do something else. When I picked it up and stamped with it I was shocked at how wonderful it stamped since it had sat a bit and the ink wasn't as wet. So, when I did these cards I was having trouble with the white snowflakes not showing up and being too Juicy. As I began to blow on them after inking it really helped to get a better stamped image (Yes, I blew on them all! Guess I was lucky not to pass out!) So that is my tip, blow on your craft ink (or set aside a minute or two) before stamping and see how your image turns out. In Joy!

Upsy Daisy

This card was a make and take at our last demonstrator meeting. I used versamark with the Upsy Daisy set on the Riding Hood Red (Did I mention that I just LOVE this new red?). I used the new large oval punch and the horizontal slot punch (with does not have to be perfectly straight). I put dimensionals behind the oval and also sponged the edges. In Joy!
