Falling Leaves
This camp project used With Gratitude (using Stampin Write Markers to color the leaves) and Sincere Salutations. They stamped up the image and then cut it in equal sizes to adhere to the card. The sentiment was punched with the Key Tag and layered on the Curly Label Punch and lastly adhered with dimensionals. In Joy!

Punch Flower
These flowers were made using the scallop punch and paper snips. The leaves were make using the crimper and paper snips. The DSP is Bella Rose and if you look closely you can see that we sponged the flower to make the petals more noticeable. The second picture is a 12x12 page my sister Donna made using the card for inspiration. I placed it in a scrapbook frame from Hobby Lobby to hand in our craft room since the color (apricot appeal) matches perfectly. In Joy!

Baroque Christmas
This was the third stamp a stack card. We had glitter everywhere and sparkled for days, lol! The background is Baroque Motifs (which I love!) and the glitter was adhered with Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive. The DSP is Ski Slope (also available in bulk) and I used the hostess set Punches Three for the sentiment using the Square scallop punch and dimensionals. I have an addiction to dimensionals but don't tell anyone (as if they haven't noticed). It's fun using stamps that are not necessarily meant for Christmas. In Joy!

Snow Swirled Swap
These pics were from a make-n-take swap at our demonstrator meeting using the new Frosty Day DSP. It took me a while to figure out what to do with the Snow Swirled Tree to dress it up a bit. Finally, I remembered the Orange Beads and adhered them with Crystal Effects. The ribbon at the top of the tree is just knotted and adhered with a mini glue dot. In Joy!

Snow Swirled Horses
This will be my Christmas card this year and I have 30 made already (woohoo!). It started out as a swap but I decided it was so me that it should be my Christmas cards. The horse image has dimensionals behind it. I have a tip that you may find interesting (or not) but I like it. When I was using craft white ink one day I inked up my stamp and set it aside for a minute to do something else. When I picked it up and stamped with it I was shocked at how wonderful it stamped since it had sat a bit and the ink wasn't as wet. So, when I did these cards I was having trouble with the white snowflakes not showing up and being too Juicy. As I began to blow on them after inking it really helped to get a better stamped image (Yes, I blew on them all! Guess I was lucky not to pass out!) So that is my tip, blow on your craft ink (or set aside a minute or two) before stamping and see how your image turns out. In Joy!

Upsy Daisy
This card was a make and take at our last demonstrator meeting. I used versamark with the Upsy Daisy set on the Riding Hood Red (Did I mention that I just LOVE this new red?). I used the new large oval punch and the horizontal slot punch (with does not have to be perfectly straight). I put dimensionals behind the oval and also sponged the edges. In Joy!

Wild About You!
This was one of our camp projects using versamark resist. I used the packing paper from my stampin up box and inked it with versamark and stamped onto Glossy White Cardstock. Just a note here....photo paper does not work on this technique. After allowing time for the versamark to dry, brayer over it with going gray and wipe with a papertowel. If you don't let the versamark dry good then it will smear and appear blurry. I also used a dimensional on the elephants ear and punched out for the sentiment to show from behind. In Joy!

Yard Sale
Yes, I did it. Finally afters years of accumulating too much stuff I finally had a yard sale. I used some foam core board which wasn't thick enough really for the sign posts (hence the post showing thru my sign) but I already had them on hand. I used my craft ink and my monogram stamps for "yard sale" and even for the arrow using part of the letter K. Using Inspired by Nature I stamped the grass along the bottom (you thought it was real didn't ya?) and my 7 year old daughter stamped on some butterflies with Flight of the Butterfly. We were quite proud of our "Pretty" yard sale signs and even had balloons flying from them. In Joy!

Handwriting Font
I forgot to mention on this post that I used my Custom Handwriting Font purchased here. I just love being able to use my handwriting "at it's best" and not worry about mistakes. Perfect everytime! I can't wait to get this done with my children as their writing changes thru life! I have even thought of doing it to pass down my mom & mother-in-laws handwriting as well. Wouldn't that be great for a heritage album? In Joy!

Wedding Stationery
This stationery is for a friend who is getting married. Hopefully she will enjoy using them for Thank You's and other occasions. I love the lovely letter stamp set! The printed paper is retired but I thought the colors went well with her fall wedding. My 7 year old daughter learned to bead a pen when I was making this and she couldn't stop, lol. In Joy!

Celebrate Freedom
This is a scrapbook page I did for Shelli Gardner's Blog August Challange. I am so proud of my 19 year old brother for his courage in joining the United States Marines. I used Night of Navy, Riding Hood Red and Sahara Sand. I also used The Tearing Edge to make the red stripes, what fun! I wish you could see the dimension of this page because it really adds to the overall look. I used my Classic Stars Wheel and The Free and The Brave stamps with both star punches. In Joy!

Unfrogettable Birthday
I was so disappointed to see the unfrogettable set on the retired list. This one will definitely stay in our collection. I made this birthday card for my nephew Brett. This was my first attempt at a pop up card so this set just seemed like the right one to use. The card base is bashful blue layered with wild wasabi and jersey shore dsp. I paper pieced the frogs with wild wasabi from the hostess prints pack of dsp paper. How cute are they? I then added a little hodge podge, ribbon, dazzling diamonds (dragon flies) and moving eyes (frogs) to finish it off. In Joy!

Horsin' Around
If you didn't know already, I am a horse lover and I just love this stamp from Serendipity. I brought it out to make this birthday card for my niece Erica who also loves horses. The base is choc chip layered with western sky dsp from Stampin UP! I also brought out my nestabilities, which I admittedly don't use often enough, to cut and emboss the very vanilla cardstock. I am still amazed at how awesome these dies are. Add a splash of red, some hodge podge and stitched ribbon and it's all done. In Joy!

Beautiful Wedding
My sister made this beautiful wedding card for the daughter of a friend. The silhouette from She's All That is stamped on choc chip paper with white craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment from Together Forever set is stamped with a silver Encore pad on choc chip and punched with the designer label punch. The bashful blue dsp is from the hostess prints pack. She finished it off with choc chip satin ribbon and the pretties kit. I don't know about you but I would have LOVED to get this card on my wedding day. In Joy!

Willson's Potty Chart
Yes, It's a Potty Chart. My youngest son needed some incentive so here it is. The stamp set is from Gina K and the cardstock from Stampin UP. Each of the paper rolls are backed with magnet and are colored coded (maybe that really doesn't need any more explaining, lol). Anyway, he was excited to see that Mom made something special for him while he was gone camping with his grandparents. I mounted it on 12x12 cardstock so I can put it in his scrapbook later. In Joy!

Apron Box & Stationery
The first picture shows the stationery that is in my apron box.
I also helped a friend make some stationery to use with her cake making business. She wanted something to write thank you notes to customers. She's All That just seemed like the perfect stamp set. When I mounted the stamps I separated the sentiments and mounted them on the side of the block so I could use the silhouettes by themselves. Her business cards are pink so I found this retired DSP paper that worked great. Now I just need to make her an apron box with magnet on the back so she can have them handy on her refrigerator. In Joy!

Monogram Card
I just love the Tart & Tangy set and the Summer Picnic DSP! Oh, did I forget to mention the Lovely Letters? Love them too!!!! These alphabets have me addicted to Monogramming! The apron box was an idea I had after seeing an apron card. Coming up with my template took the most time but I enjoy engineering things or figuring out someone else's. Inside the box is some stationery that will be pictured in another post. In Joy!

Embrace Life From The Heart
Accordian Brag Book
I made these accordion brag books as a Mother's Day Gift for my Step-Grandmother, Mother-in-law, and my Mother. (Of course I put different pics in each one.) I just love the Afternoon Tea DSP paper from the Occasions Mini! This book was for Lucille, my Step-Grandmother.
This cutie is my son Willson, the only one who made a decent individual picture.
These are my Children with my Husband, Bud and also with my Step-Grandmother, Lucille.
Are you wondering why I used a picture of my Husband rather than myself? Well, I am always behind the camera (mostly on purpose)! He loves her like a mother so I knew she wouldn't mind. In Joy!
